(AUSTIN) – Chancellor Brian McCall released the following statement regarding the retirement of Sul Ross State University President Bill Kibler:
“I would like to thank Dr. Kibler for his service to Sul Ross State University and wish him well in retirement. Over the past five years, Bill has made a lasting impact on the university by leading a successful accreditation effort and launching a 10-year strategic plan that will guide Sul Ross toward an exciting future.
“In the coming weeks, we will begin a nationwide search for the next president of Sul Ross and announce opportunities for input in this process across all four Sul Ross campuses. As Dr. Kibler continues to serve as president through June 2020, he enjoys the full support of the TSUS administration and Board of Regents.”
